Renovo Resource Solutions runs a fully paved 10-acre metal recycling yard in Bradenton with a drive-on scale and room for multiple large loads at once. The yard buys ferrous and nonferrous metals including aluminum, copper, brass, stainless steel, heavy steel, batteries, and white goods, and it serves individuals as well as commercial accounts. Roll-off containers go to job sites for large cleanups, and the page lays out a grading guide for sorting material by type. Florida's secondary metals recycler rules apply, so sellers of restricted items such as manhole covers and utility structures show proof of ownership or authorization. Staff help unload and sort at the yard.

Tim Healey owns this family-run DeBary yard, which has bought scrap metal and junk cars from Central Florida customers since 1996. It takes ferrous and non-ferrous metal, from copper pipe and insulated wire to radiators, catalytic converters, electric motors, transformers, appliances, and aluminum rims, bicycles, and cans. A sale follows a drive-on scale routine: the yard weighs the loaded vehicle, staff help unload, the empty vehicle gets weighed, and sellers show ID before payment by cash or check. The yard tows junk cars, picks up commercial accounts on a regular schedule, and rents roll-off boxes for demolition, construction, machine shop, and air conditioner scrap.

Three family members opened Florida Recycling in DeLand in 1972. Sellers are paid cash on certified scales, and cleaner loads bring a higher payout. Aluminum cans are bought even when dirty or holding a little water, unless the contamination is extreme. Other aluminum includes extrusion, sheet, painted siding, cast, screws, and window cranks, with glass removed first. Copper grades include bare bright, #1, #2, and insulated #1 and #2 wire, along with steel. Laptops and desktops are bought at the steel price, and hard drive destruction is available for a fee. Motherboards, RAM, processors, and power supplies are priced on their own. Appliances, including dishwashers, are accepted. Cars, plastic bottles, concrete, cardboard, and used boxes are turned away, and nothing is resold to the public. Hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

ATM Recycling started in a home yard in Brevard County after its founders, who worked for the local garbage service, watched scrap metal go into the landfill and began collecting it instead. The business grew into yards in Cocoa, Titusville, and Palm Bay, and the Titusville yard on South Street serves the north end of the county. It buys scrap metal and old household appliances such as washers and dryers, and it rents roll-off dumpsters for larger cleanouts. A branded roll-off truck handles container delivery and pickup.
