Neighborhood Trash and Recycling Centers offer a convenient solution for residents to drop off household trash, tree and yard cuttings, and limited construction and demolition debris. These centers also accept up to four standard automobile tires and white goods, excluding garbage disposal. Each customer is limited to three cubic yards of C&D debris per day. Specific items like wooden and chain-linked fences, used motor oil, electronics, and cardboard are accepted at certain locations. To use the centers, residents must present a valid Florida driver's license or ID matching an eligible property address in the database. Oversize vehicles and trailers are not permitted, and alternatives include using compliant vehicles or scheduling a bulky waste pickup. Operating daily from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., these centers serve various areas within Miami-Dade County and specific cities, ensuring proper waste management and recycling practices.
