The center also has recycling drop-off, a mulch pick-up, and a Cooking Oil Recycling Effort (CORE) drop-off. It is open Monday through Saturday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM. I recently visited the local county community center for some decluttering and I must say it’s a convenient solution for getting rid of unwanted items. The streamlined process and friendly staff made the experience hassle-free. From electronics to hazardous waste they have bins for everything promoting responsible disposal. However one thing to note is that the operating hours mentioned on their website were incorrect. The correct hours are Monday to Saturday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM. So make sure to double-check before you go. Overall a great place for decluttering responsibly.

The two employees at the window were friendly and helpful. It was my first time visiting for county residents make sure that you bring the tax bill showing you pay the ad valorem waste fee so you don't have to pay.

We use the collection center a few times a year for things that don’t fit in our bins (usually cardboard) or hazardous waste. The folks at the gate are always quick and friendly - just have your tax bill and your ID ready to go.
