About This Center

The City of St. Petersburg operates five Brush Sites where residents can drop off select recyclable materials and yard waste. Visitors need to show proof of residency at the entrance. Accepted materials include grass clippings, brush, trimmings, recyclable items, metals, appliances, and cement roofing tiles. Only properties paying an active Sanitation collection charge can use the sites, and loads from construction or lawn services must be accompanied by the utility bill holder or a consent form. Dumping without consent may lead to legal action. The sites operate professionally, and any misconduct towards staff is not tolerated. Residents can also drop off yard waste and recyclables, with specific guidelines for each. Mulch products and soil builder are available for pickup or delivery for a fee. Additional recyclable materials can be taken to Pinellas County sites or other designated locations. Operating hours vary, and the sites are closed on certain holidays.

Saint Kyrt (2/5 stars, 3 years ago): would not let me dump my leaves because I live on the other side of town. he asked why was I coming to this dump when the other one was closer. i told him because I have to go to tampa right after this and it's on the way. he told me in order for me to dump my leaves I would have to pay him 25 dollars. I asked for a supervisor he said he was busy and would turn me around because my address says I live on the other side of town. I ended up paying him 25 dollars to dump my leaves.
