Snapper Creek Trash & Recycling Center

Neighborhood Trash and Recycling Centers in Miami-Dade County offer services for dropping off household trash, tree and yard cuttings, and limited construction and demolition debris. They also accept up to four standard automobile tires and white goods, excluding garbage disposal. Each center has specific guidelines, such as accepting wooden and chain-linked fences, used motor oil, electronics, and cardboard for recycling. Some centers do not accept white goods, tires, or mattresses. Visitors must present a valid Florida driver's license or ID matching an eligible property address to use the facilities, which are only available to residential waste fee customers in certain areas. Oversize vehicles and trailers are not permitted, and alternatives for disposal include scheduling a bulky waste pickup or delivering trash to designated landfills.
