Dirty White Boy (5/5 stars, a month ago): Call it a landfill if ya like but I simply call it a DUMP ! Because you dump things there ! The fine folks who work at the dump are some of the best men and women that Seminole county has to offer ! I have read some reviews that quite frankly took me back to the days where a man could challenge another man who insulted him to trial by combat ! Why ? Reviews concerning the attitudes of those unsung heroes at our local dump should infuriate anyone and everyone ! Driving in without a tarp on your load ? Stupid questions like ..'' is this the dump ''? '' this is hurricane debris from 1992 so it should be free '' ! '' can I leave my children in your care while I roam the acreage looking for valuables ''? '' if I take more garbage out then I brought in do you pay me ''? I love everyone at the dump ! They are my kind of people ! Sometimes they have to put their foot down and tell ya how it is .....you ever work 10 hours a day 7 days a week ...forever ?! The dump is a magical place that never closes ! If the dump closed for a day we would suffer ! The next time I hear '' thank you for your service '' and its someone thanking a cop who just gave them a ticket and a full body cavity search i'm going to have to step in and remind the idiot they should be thanking the folks who deal with trash everyday and thanking them for their service ......because they actually provide the county with a '' SERVICE '' ! Think about it ! If 90% of the police in the county were gone yesterday would you be any less safe ? Nope ! But if we lost the dump workers we would be in for a world of hurt ! We can defend ourselves and we don't need to be ticketed or arrested to be ''protected and served '' ! We need the dump and everyone working there ! Dollar for dollar you can't beat the dump ! I really wish I could have worked at the dump ....any dump .....maybe I'll start a dump .....or a landfill . Thank you Geneva Dump for all ya do and may the God of garbage take a liking to each and everyone of y'all and may that mountain of discarded crap reach heaven one day so the creator can observe your handy work . Sometimes after they close I like to drive by and look at the masterpiece that was created with hard work and a few tax dollars ....damn I love the dump !
