The Mockingbird Way Mulching Facility in Titusville, FL, operates Monday to Saturday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, catering to residential vehicles and yard waste trucks for residential areas only. The facility accepts various materials such as asphalt, brick, clean cardboard, concrete, lumber, metal scraps, rock, single-stream recycling, tires, treated wood, wood waste, white goods, and yard waste. However, it does not accept garbage, new construction waste, or commercial renovation materials. Treated wood at the facility includes items like decks, docks, fences, playground timbers, utility poles, and railroad ties. The Household Hazardous Waste Collection Center at Mockingbird accepts household items like aerosols, batteries, cleaners, fertilizers, paints, and more, open Monday to Saturday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Visitors should note that the facility will no longer accept vegetative waste, wood, metals, white goods, concrete, or tires starting July 19, 2024, and continuing through August 2025. For disposal of these items during this period, visitors must go to the Central Disposal Facility located at 2260 Adamson Road, Cocoa.

Just pull straight in to drop off cardboard concrete and trees. Everything else make a right head up the ramp and ask for Information. The guys and gals are more than helpful. Great crew of people staffing this county building.

littlelaty (5/5 stars, 4 years ago): This place is amazing. They do a great job keeping the different areas neat and tidy. You can bring yard debris old tires dead appliances and other metals as well as cardboard. Up top they take construction debris household chemicals and paint. And then you can pick up compost and sometimes mulch. Very happy to have this facility in my town!
