Tim Healey owns this family-run DeBary yard, which has bought scrap metal and junk cars from Central Florida customers since 1996. It takes ferrous and non-ferrous metal, from copper pipe and insulated wire to radiators, catalytic converters, electric motors, transformers, appliances, and aluminum rims, bicycles, and cans. A sale follows a drive-on scale routine: the yard weighs the loaded vehicle, staff help unload, the empty vehicle gets weighed, and sellers show ID before payment by cash or check. The yard tows junk cars, picks up commercial accounts on a regular schedule, and rents roll-off boxes for demolition, construction, machine shop, and air conditioner scrap.
