The Brooklake Road plant sorts construction and demolition debris and transfer station waste to recover rock, wood, metal and cardboard, and takes in curbside garbage and organics loads from local haulers for compacting and transport to landfill and repurposing facilities. The public drop-off takes household waste at the processing facility and recyclables at a separate depot: cardboard, glass bottles and jars, paper, plastic bottles and jugs, tin and aluminum cans, wood, concrete and metal. Contractors bring job-site debris straight here instead of driving to Coffin Butte Landfill. The site is open Monday through Friday.
