Traditional recyclables like paper, cardboard, glass, metal cans, and plastics 1, 2, and 5 carry no recycling fee beyond the daily gate fee. Motor oil, antifreeze, vegetable oil, foam, and plastic bags are taken as hard-to-recycle items, and electronics, appliances, tires, bulbs, and secure document and hard drive shredding cost extra.
