Recycle Ann Arbor Recovery Yard - Recycling Center in Ann Arbor, MI

As a carpenter I've been going here for the better part of 20 years in the past year it's really gone down hill. Today the heavy set woman at the gate insisted that my three quarters of a yard was in fact a full yard and became belligerent when I protested. They're convinced that a 5' bed holds a yard and a half.... like yeah maybe if it's water or something. I've attached photos so you can see it's like 60% the length of my bed not to the top and with massive voids that will get annihilated by the dude in the giant front end loader. Lately they just seem to try to screw you as much as possible.

Beware - had a contract with set date/time to get a dumpster for a remodel project. Move day came and the dumpster never showed up. When called they offered no concern and simply offered to cancel the delivery. This caused major disruption to the project. We had to go with some one else short notice and pay more. Stay way from these guys unless you are willing to live with major flexibility in your scheduling.

Joe yelled at me because I got there 15m before they closed so he had to stay late. I'd advise going somewhere with more friendly workers.
