The Mandwella Effect

The Mandwella Effect (5/5 stars, a year ago): For being a place where people bring their trash it’s actually nice and well maintained. It doesn’t smell bad the employees are super friendly and everything has signage placed so it’s easy to navigate the property. They have a lot of old school signs decals and really cool decorations hanging up all over the walls in the main building where you toss the household items at. Just a heads up you will need to bring cash with you. They do not accept debit or credit as forms of payment here. If you call in advance and they do not answer don’t fret. Feel free to leave a voicemail and they will call you back shortly. They will happily answer any and all questions you may have. I do recall some of the prices on trash bags themselves which was extremely reasonable. If they are the 13 gallon sized trash bags they cost $1.50 each to dispose of. If they are the big black 30 gallon sized bags they cost $3.00 each to dispose of. My family and I came here the other day and brought a trailer filled with all kinds of trash and it was only $45 altogether. We had an old pool filter plastic fencing a Coleman cooler a steam cleaner a couple broken laundry baskets a tote filled with ceramic dishes and tons of trash bags. They accepted it all! My kids and fiancé made sure to unload everything in the proper places and we were in and out within 10 minutes. This is way cheaper and more convenient than paying a monthly fee to a waste management company that stops by once a week and limits what you can and cannot throw away.
