Solid Waste Supervisor Bobby Rush oversees the Gilchrist County Solid Waste Facility located at 1659 NW 10th St. Bell, FL 32619, with operating hours from Monday to Saturday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The facility accepts bagged/household garbage and recyclables only. Additional sites include the North East Site in High Springs, South East Site in Trenton, 138 Center in Branford, Donnie Center in Trenton, and Cruse Center in Bell, each with specific operating hours and limited to bagged/household garbage only. Tipping fees at the Main (Bell) Facility vary for different materials such as construction and demolition materials, yard trash, furniture, appliances, mattresses, tires, used oil, and auto/marine batteries. Notably, used oil must be in containers no larger than 5 gallons, free from water, and can only be brought to the main facility in Bell. Medical waste or asbestos materials are not accepted at any of the sites.
