Alachua County Rural Collection Center - Archer

This has to be the laziest form of government employee. No one was present to answer my questions but conveniently showed up after I finished unloading to tell me there was a size limit. Better signage and some guidelines would be nice and would do a better job than those who work there.

Writing a review for the trash collection place is a new one. I think it is an amazing and under-utilized resource especially to throw away hazardous stuff safely. Plus I find cool material there too such as discarded gas grills and other equipment that can be cannibalized for parts. Truly good use of the materials. I love that they are open on Saturday.

This place is a collection site. I do take my trash there and recyclables there. It you to be a clean place and safe. But now spiders every where broken glass. And the people that work there are either inside the building or they are sitting down smoking a cigarette. I know we have to follow the rules when we go there. What rules do the workers have to follow. A waste of our taxes dollars.
