BottleDrop Redemption Center
About This Center
Self-serve machines are temporarily unavailable at BottleDrop Redemption Centers in Eugene, with all individual container counts being done by Stream Count at the Bulk Count station. The drop door will be open for easy access. In Bend, limited parking is available due to construction. BottleDrop offers various redemption options, including self-serve returns for up to 350 empty containers per person per day, hand-counted returns at select locations for up to 50 containers per day, and the Green Bag Program where customers can drop full bags of containers for redemption at participating locations. Customers can receive their refund value as cash or store credit at participating retailers through BottleDrop Plus, which offers 20% more refund value. Additionally, customers can link their BottleDrop account to an Oregon College Savings Plan account to save for education. BottleDrop aims to keep public spaces litter-free by providing a 0.10 refund value for qualifying beverage containers and recycling over two billion containers annually. Visitors can engage in the Green Bag Program, Blue Bag program for nonprofits, and various account options to make recycling convenient and rewarding.

If you tend to go and process the cans yourself you're more than likely going to have to wait I would recommend showing up. The staff who worked there are amazing and nice.

Jocelyn Stephens (2/5 stars, a month ago): The other locations I've been to you're able to just walk in with your recycling and wait in line inside for the next available machine this location made people stand outside in pouring rain with no cover before they were allowed inside straight to a machine. I didn't even get out of my car to wait in line I just sat for about 10 minutes waiting to see if it'd change. It never did. Shame on them 🤬

K Haslett (1/5 stars, 5 months ago): I do not feel safe dropping off my blue bags at this location. There are several homeless people hanging around the front with no sign of security . I was asked for my bottles and cans by them. I declined and said they were for charity and when I opened the BottleDrop door - one of them grabbed the handle and held it. I had to pull it away from him to close the door - so he would not try to retrieve the donations from the bag drop off. It happened with two other women who came up behind me and I could tell they also felt very uncomfortable and intimidated. The whole outside was littered with garbage. BottleDrop needs to increase their security so people can feel safe recycling. This system is not working!
