Lenz Enterprises has supplied soil, rock, and compost on SR 532 east of Stanwood since 1976, and the family-owned company runs a compost facility that takes outside yard and garden debris. Anyone brings clean yard debris or small livestock manure and bedding, pulling onto the scale to weigh in. Under a posted Clean Green Acceptance Policy the yard also takes clean dimensional lumber, concrete and asphalt, land-clearing dirt, stumps and brush, food residuals, and non-contaminated soils.
