About this center

Location: 75 E Camano Hill Road, Camano Island, WA. Hours: 9:30 AM to 5 PM daily, with exceptions on holidays. Services offered include acceptance of municipal solid waste, construction demolition debris, appliances, tires, scrap metal, and mixed recycling. Additionally, they provide E-Cycle services for electronics, clothing drop-off in the blue Northwest Center container, and household hazardous waste disposal. Business hazardous waste disposal requires an appointment. Out-of-county waste is not accepted, and Stanwood residents are directed to Snohomish County's Transfer Stations. Visitors are advised that yard waste is currently not accepted due to safety concerns, with no set date for resuming collection. Camano Island residents are recommended to use Lenz Enterprises in Stanwood for yard waste disposal or opt for Waste Management's curbside collection service. Customer service is the worst I have encountered in this city When calling with questions the woman did not answer or state company name just laughed and stayed silent until we said "Hello?" Only to be told unless I LIVE on the island I can not dump here. We live only 12 minutes from the location and know that Snohomish County roads are used to TRANSFER this waste. Seems a bit ridiculous.

Pretty cool thing they have going on over there. Island county uses snohomish county roads to transfer their junk. Then refuses to let snohomish county residents use the dump. Pretty lousy showing up with load and waiting in line just to be turned away for a completely arbitrary reason.

Always easy in and out . Happy people who work there ! Best of all they are very helpful . I actually enjoy the quick conversations with the employees. Bald Eagles next to my truck when I was leaving . Of all the dumps I have been to this easiest in and out . Never rated a transfer station before however this is worth the time !
