How to Recycle Textiles/Clothing
Clothing, towels, and fabric items around the home. Damaged textiles still have a route, which is the part most people do not realize.
Quick answer
Worn out is not the same as unusable. Clean, dry textiles go to a donation point or a textile recycling bin whatever their condition, because usable pieces are resold and the rest become insulation, wiping cloths, and stuffing. What disqualifies textiles is being wet or moldy, so bag them dry. Never put textiles in a curbside bin.
