Island County Coupeville Transfer Station

Avoid. The staff is so rude the hostility filters down to some of their customers. It's an oppressive creepy environment. A century ago if the fascists had recycling this is what it would look and feel like. I'm totally done with this place.

Apparently neither Freeland or Coupeville are accepting styrofoam. Freeland says some machine is broken & Coupeville says “It all goes to the dump” per recycle employee on the phone.

Open on Memorial Day with the flag half staff. Center staff was as awlays bright eyed and bushy tailed. Finally taking Credit Cards. Hope CC stays past the 'Rona.
