Each household receives a 95-gallon trash cart and a 65-gallon recycling cart, which must be set out by 7:00am on the scheduled collection day. The program also includes no-cost bulk item pickup (such as furniture, mattresses, and refrigerators), a Food Scrap Composting Program, and a Recycling and Household Hazardous Waste program. Curbside recycling details and community recycling events are coordinated through the Resource Recovery and Recycling Authority of Southwest Oakland County (RRRASOC).
