Erie Recycling Center
1000 Briggs St Erie CO 80516 USA
The Town of Erie Sustainability Division operates a Recycling Center that accepts single-stream recycling, corrugated cardboard, yard waste, food scraps, and metal bins. Visitors must be Erie residents and provide proof of residency. Accepted items include paper, plastic, glass, metal, cardboard, yard waste, and certain metals. Prohibited items include plastic bags, shredded paper, hard-back books, scrap metal, and hazardous waste. The center is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., seven days a week, weather permitting. Illegal dumping results in fines and closure of the facility. Visitors are advised not to leave items outside the bins, to unload their recycling properly, and to ensure yard waste is clean of contaminants. The center does not accept materials from non-residents. Yard waste is accepted year-round, and visitors are encouraged to check for closure alerts and follow proper etiquette to keep the facility clean and operational.
