Recycle Colorado
About This Center
Recycle Colorado is a 501(c)(3) statewide nonprofit organization focused on advancing circular economies and improving recycling across Colorado. With 148 member organizations and individuals, Recycle Colorado aims to transform the state into a national leader in waste reduction, recovery, and diversion. They organize events like the annual Summit for Recycling conference and webinars to facilitate collaboration among stakeholders in the waste stream, including haulers, producers, recyclers, and cities/counties. The organization emphasizes the importance of communication to achieve Colorado's diversion goals and preserve the state's beauty and resources. Memberships, including the Colorado Composting Council, need to be renewed annually. Recycle Colorado is currently seeking nominations for recycling or composting awards to be presented at the Summit for Recycling conference. Additionally, they are in the process of finding a new Executive Director as the current one will be stepping down after the upcoming summit. Visitors to the website can find information on membership renewal, upcoming events, and ways to support Recycle Colorado's mission.
