I was fortunate enough to get 25 pounds of new clean 1/2 inch thick aluminum wire. Approximately 22 to 24 inches long each. And was told the best they would do is old sheet aluminum. Clean aluminum wire -- $0.65 per lb Old sheet aluminum -- $0.30 per lb To me that is flat out stealing. I AM NOT GOING BACK
