About This Center
Self-serve machines are temporarily unavailable at BottleDrop Redemption Centers in Eugene, with all individual container counts being done by Stream Count at the Bulk Count station. The drop door will be open for easy access. In Bend, limited parking is available due to construction. BottleDrop offers various redemption options, including self-serve returns for up to 350 empty containers per person per day, hand-counted returns at select locations for up to 50 containers per day, and the Green Bag Program where customers can drop full bags of containers for redemption at participating locations. Customers can receive refund value as cash or store credit at participating retailers through BottleDrop Plus, which offers 20% more refund value. Additionally, customers can link their BottleDrop account to an Oregon College Savings Plan account to save for education. BottleDrop aims to keep public spaces litter-free by providing a 0.10 refund value for qualifying beverage containers and recycling over two billion containers annually. Visitors can engage in the Green Bag Program, Blue Bag program for nonprofits, and benefit from the efficient redemption system offered by BottleDrop Redemption Centers.

Dick Langley (5/5 stars, 3 weeks ago): Quick painless almost. Short lines if any. Clean. Polite staff. Parking is minimal though. Conveniently located right next to a McDonald's for after you get your refund so as to be easy for you to get a nice cold and refreshing milkshake.... Best place for redemption in my opinion. Thank you for your contribution to the world of today.

GT Hodge (2/5 stars, 9 months ago): Biggest impression — the whole place reeks of aged beer exact same smell as a college frat house. Employees here possibly being exposed to beer air toxins or something. As a first time user it’s initially a bit bewildering I did not notice any clear instructions posted near the entrance. The place was crowded / with lines on a Wednesday afternoon. After a reasonable wait of about 5 minutes I asked a fairly helpful customer service person what to do to return just ~45 bottles/ cans. He pointed me to the Express line which took only 10 minutes wait with 3 people in front of me. Be ready to have the machine reject some of your cans for good reason (like a couple beer cans from Canada with invalid UPC code) AND reasons nobody knows (e.g. Deschutes brewing beer bottle labelled “OR 10 cents”— for fun I took it to customer service and they readily accepted that one). It was good seeing people getting money for stuff it seemed they collected from the streets (hopefully) or trash cans (? would not be the main goal). Anyways I tried this place to learn about it and the whole program seems like unnecessary government intervention / juice not worth the squeezing. Were it a brilliant idea more states would be doing it. Certainly just gonna simply recycle and not bother coming here again.
