Balcones Recycling
About This Center
Balcones Recycling has been awarded a 15-year municipal recycling contract by the City of McKinney, TX, to build and operate a state-of-the-art processing facility in North Texas. The facility, set to open in Spring 2026, will prioritize recovery rates exceeding 95 percent, employee safety, and quality control, with all recycled commodities marketed in North America, particularly to Texas-based companies. Balcones aims to create approximately 53 new full-time environmental jobs and will incorporate energy conservation design innovations such as solar panels and electric charging stations. The facility will offer drop-off options for recyclable materials outside of the City program and utilize the most advanced sortation technology available. For those interested in setting up recycling and shredding services, they can contact Balcones Recycling via email at [email protected] or by providing additional information through their website.

CARLOS CEPEDA (El APASiTO) (5/5 stars, 4 months ago): They load fast BE CAREFUL WITH THE SCALE it has small steel walls it centers the truck well! They open at 7 am and close at 3. You arrive and stand on the scale do not get on you go and report at the shipping window you have to pass the gate on your right side I would ask you to write down your information on a sheet Truck Box Pickup number (starts with RN) Name And date. It will ask you to get on the scale and park on any available cover on the right side once you get on the scale it will speak to you through the megaphone which already has your weight you can go and park at the door you have to move the axles all the way back once loaded you can move your axles to your liking and get on the weight there is another megaphone on the left side above the scale there it will tell you the same as what your weight you get off the scale and you can go get your papers at the window where you reported. Don't stay on the scale when you go get papers. When you get off the scale stay well to the right so that you do not hinder those who enter. In the booth on one side they have the weight marker I uploaded my first axle and wrote it down I uploaded the second axle and the first and wrote it down and in the end everything was complete and I only had to do the subtractions to know my weight. With that I free myself from going to the scale to weigh.
