Individuals and businesses haul material in, and staff weigh, grade, and pay on site. Roll-off containers in 20, 30, 40, and 50 yard sizes and forklift bins go to customer sites for ongoing scrap. Alco also dismantles transformers, handles demolition, and sells and fabricates new metal. The yard refuses catalytic converters, airbags, fluorescent lights, refrigerants, and every battery except lead-acid. Weekday hours start at 7 a.m.
