How to Recycle Household Cleaners
Bleach, ammonia, oven cleaners, and other chemical cleaning products.
Quick answer
It depends. Most liquid cleaners are household hazardous waste and shouldn't be poured down the drain or trashed full. Use them up or give them away; take leftovers to an HHW facility, never mixing products (bleach and ammonia are dangerous together). Empty, rinsed bottles can usually be recycled.
