The Gedney Recycling Yard, located at 87 Gedney Way, White Plains, NY, is a facility exclusively for White Plains residents, requiring ID for entry. It accepts household recycling, including paper products (flattened cardboard, newspapers, magazines, and office papers), co-mingled recycling (clean plastics labeled 1-7, clean glass bottles and jars, and clean metal containers), and small non-automotive scrap metal. Residents can also recycle textiles and small electronic items. However, items such as deposit bottles, hazardous material containers, dirty pesticide bottles, and plastic bags are not accepted.
