The Westchester County Department of Environmental Facilities operates a recycling center that provides a range of services for residents, including curbside recycling and special waste disposal. Accepted materials include automotive tires, motor oil, filters, batteries, license plates, cell phones, CFLs, electronics, household batteries, medications, paint (oil and latex), propane tanks, plastic bags, Styrofoam packaging, refrigerators, air conditioners, textiles, and food waste.
