Transfer Station Location: 902 Dump Rd, Gardnerville, NV 89410. Hours of Operation: Tuesday-Sunday 9am to 5pm, closed Mondays and major holidays. Recycle Center Hours: Tuesday-Saturday 9am to 4:30pm. Materials accepted include Residential and Commercial Construction Waste, Green Waste, White Goods and Metals, Inert Waste, and Tires. All loads must be tarped or contained. Special fees apply for items such as Refrigerators, TVs, Propane tanks, Fluorescent bulbs, etc. Tires greater than 36 inches are not accepted. The Carson Valley Green Waste Recycle Program offers reduced tip fees for clean, natural vegetation materials like trees, logs, and leaves, diverting over 1,500 tons annually from the landfill. Unacceptable materials for the green waste program include treated lumber, painted wood, bags, furniture, and manure. Visitors are advised to inform scale house personnel of their load contents for inspection. Contaminated loads will be charged the regular dump rate and directed to the Transfer Station loading pad.
