Carson City Landfill

Eddie (5/5 stars, a year ago): This is a convenient and easy to use landfill and recycling facility in Carson City that has super friendly service. I use it on a regular basis to recycle old motor oil (limit of 5 gallons per visit) antifreeze and car batteries and free of charge. Of course they also allow for the dumping of everything from green waste (brush or tree clippings) to general trash metals appliances like washers or refrigerators tires with or without wheels on them construction and demolition waste and even crazy things like dead animals and mobile homes. And if you live within Carson City County the rates are very affordable with the cheapest of which is green waste at just $16 a ton or $8 as a minimum if you have less that that. But even if you're an out of county resident I think you'll find that the rates are still way more affordable than what you could be paying for at a transfer station. And going back to the friendly service I do have to note that I often come with my border collie riding shotgun and the staff are always happy to see her and when available give her a treat as well.
