The Moscow Recycling Center, built and owned by the City of Moscow Sanitation Fund, has been in operation since 1994. Located at 401 North Jackson Street, the facility spans 72,900 square feet, with a 13,225 square foot building serving as a redemption center for the public, as well as a processing, baling, and warehousing facility. The center features office space, a meeting area, an education and library section for tours, recycling and yard waste drop-off areas, and large truck scales. Operated by the City of Moscow franchisee, Inland North Waste Moscow Recycling, in a public-private partnership, the center accepts over 30 commodities and caters to Moscow and all Latah County residents.
