About this center

The Moscow Recycling Center, built and owned by the City of Moscow Sanitation Fund, has been in operation since 1994. Located at 401 North Jackson Street, the facility spans 72,900 square feet, with a 13,225 square foot building serving as a redemption center for the public, as well as a processing, baling, and warehousing facility. The center features office space, a meeting area, an education and library section for tours, recycling and yard waste drop-off areas, and large truck scales. Operated by the City of Moscow franchisee, Inland North Waste Moscow Recycling, in a public-private partnership, the center accepts over 30 commodities and caters to Moscow and all Latah County residents. Specific operational hours are detailed for office visits, buy-back services, and large volume drop-offs, with the recycling drop-off and yard waste areas accessible 24 hours a day.

Great service and great employees. Read a few of the 1 stars to the ones that moved here there are RULES HERE people if you don't like rules move back to whatever you left.

Overall a very negative experience. After moving I went to drop off cardboard boxes and was verbally assaulted by a hyper-aggressive male employee over the placement of my vehicle. When I went to the office to speak with the manager about his behavior the employee got in my way and physically and verbally intimidated me until I felt unsafe and left. Later I called the office and filed a formal complaint with the management. I think I will be finding a new place to recycle now; I would rather drive a few extra miles than suffer an attack of this sort again. Completely and utterly unacceptable.
