Lewiston Transfer Station

Savanna Cook (5/5 stars, a year ago): Honestly I love the guys that work at the front. They always joke around with me and never take their job TOO seriously. Obviously having to drive (10min for me) out of your way to recycle isn’t a fun job. But they always let me know where everything goes and it’s a fun little task for me. There’s one guy I don’t remember his name this was about 8 mo. ago he faked a phone call from the police and said “yeah? Oh the Lewiston Police department? Yeah I probably have the white car you’re looking for right here military license plates right?” I fully believed him as it was my only 2nd time there and yes I do tend to speed sometimes. He broke character and it was the most funniest customer service experience I have ever had. He had me fully convinced cops were coming after me while I was there to recycle. I had just transferred colleges here and was really nervous about going to new places. He broke the nervous mood for me he told me he himself was a Veteran a marine I believe. Any business that supports Vets I will support as much as I can. I told my mom (ex AF and Army Vet) about the experience and she died laughing. I still think about it to this day and although he almost gave me a heart attack he really made me feel comfortable not only in their business but in Lewiston/Clarkston.
