Recycling centers in Bella Vista

Each year more than 5 million pounds of material move through Bella Vista Recycling Center, and 100 percent of the net proceeds from selling that material go to local charities. The community-based drop-off is at 400 Pinion Bluff Drive, one road north of T.H. Rogers Lumber Company on the east side of Highway 71 in Bella Vista, Arkansas. The posted mission is to keep recyclable materials out of landfills. Paper, plastic bottles, glass, cans, wearable clothing, scrap metal, and retired American flags are accepted. Shredding is listed beside paper products. Scrap metal drop-off excludes appliances that contain Freon, including refrigerators, freezers, and dehumidifiers, plus propane tanks and electronics.
