About This Center

The James R. Welch Recycling Center in Rogers offers free self-service recycling drop-off to the public, available 24 hours a day. Accepted materials include 1 and 2 plastic bottles, metal cans, cardboard, clean white Styrofoam, glass bottles, magazines, newspapers, office paper, and junk mail. Not accepted are any other plastics, soda or beer boxes, aluminum or tin foil, egg cartons, to-go food containers, foam cups, and shredded paper must be in bags. The Yard Waste Facility in Rogers accepts trees, limbs, leaves, grass, and shrubs but does not accept lumber, plywood, building materials, stumps, root balls, or yard waste contaminated with trash. The facility is open Tuesday through Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Small yard waste can be disposed of by purchasing yellow yard waste bags from LRS for $2.43 each. The Rogers Yard Waste Facility is located at 2307 N Arkansas St, Rogers, AR 72756, open Tuesday to Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., closed on Sundays and Mondays.

Every time I show up in my box truck to recycle cardboard and styrofoam everyone is so helpful. Appreciate it!

Stephen Volsted (5/5 stars, 7 months ago): It is very organized and easy to recycle your recyclables into the bins. They do not take plastic bags or batteries and no light bulbs but the special waste area does take those plus furniture appliances hazardous materials as well as tires. That is county operated and over behind a fence by the yard waste area. Ask for a brochure it lists all they take and prices.
