Special Waste Drop-off - Centerton
About This Center
Allied Waste Republic Services operates a recycling center offering various disposal options for different materials, including household items like furniture, appliances, electronics, metal items, tires, and household hazardous materials. They have a Special Waste Drop-off Program with specific hours at different locations like Centerton, Rogers, and Siloam Springs. Fees and material limits apply for certain items, and there are separate instructions for non-household items and yard waste compost. The center also provides recycling drop-offs for small recyclables such as paper, cardboard, plastic bottles, and cans. Businesses and non-household generators have disposal options for special wastes, with applicable fees. Building materials, including construction and demolition materials, must be disposed of at a Transfer Station or Landfill with fees. The website offers downloadable flyers for more detailed information on services and materials accepted.

Christopher Marston (4/5 stars, 2 years ago): It’s a great facility but nobody really has access to it. I looked at the volume of chemicals going through it and it’s barely anything compared to the population’s size. It needs to have a much bigger public exposure with easier hazmat drop sites like a big truck at Walmart once a month with a huge sign saying bring your old batteries paint chemicals etc here this Saturday. It’s a big pain in the neck to go over there and drop stuff off for me and I am a super conscientious green type of person. Most people are too busy. Maybe have a neighborhood roving outreach where they put out flyers saying this Saturday we will be picking up old chemicals if you have any. Text us your address if you have something to recycle. It’s a public service so it should be structured to serve the people. Get volunteers. Hire a PR person.
