The Bella Vista Recycling Center is a nonprofit, volunteer-operated recycling facility located in Bella Vista, Arkansas. This community-driven organization is dedicated to environmental sustainability and charitable giving, recycling over 5 million pounds of material annually. Remarkably, 100% of the net proceeds from recycling operations are donated to local charities and community organizations, making every recycling trip a contribution to the greater good. The center is staffed entirely by dedicated volunteers who are passionate about environmental stewardship and community service. They accept a variety of recyclable materials including paper products (newspapers, magazines, office paper, cardboard), plastic bottles (#1 and #2 PETE and HDPE only - no food containers), aluminum and tin cans, and wearable clothing donations. The facility operates as a 24-hour drop-off center Monday through Saturday, providing convenient access for residents. Located one road north of T.H. Rogers Lumber Company on the east side of Highway 71, the center features clearly marked bins and comprehensive signage to help visitors properly sort their recyclables. Important guidelines: Only plastic bottles are accepted (no plastic food containers, tubs, or bags). Glass is NOT accepted. All materials should be clean and dry. The volunteers regularly post updates and educational materials to help the community recycle effectively.

Bella Vista staff are friendly and industrious. They recently posted additional information to assist in sortation and recycling. Please view the video or take the time to read the new signage during your next visit.

Recycling is convenient and easy to do at this location. Thank you volunteers for all you do for Bella Vista and making a better world too! This is a nonprofit organization and those working here are volunteers.

If you are having a great day are feeling productive and want to do something good for humanity (recycle to help keep your household items out of landfills) but you also need someone to yell at you for your good deeds... Stop by this place to drop off your recycling! They will happily yell at you make you feel bad and help put that dark spot on what was a happy and sunny day! Response to their response... From the numerous reviews stating how rude the employees at this facility can be it is obvious there is a legitimate issue that needs to be addressed. If the facility is going to respond to these reviews with comments like...were you having trouble reading the signage it showcases the poor leadership this facility is managed by. We are your customers. We are the reason you exist. You should want our business. You should be working to keep our business. Telling us to drive to another facility in another town is bad business. No it wasn't loud. No your employee wasn't trying to assist us. Your employee was yelling at my teenage son flailing her arms and acting like a person that should not be in that position if she cannot understand the basics of decency and normal customer service. Another patron was there and witnessed the way your employee was acting. That patron looked at us smiled and rolled their eyes in disbelief as even they couldn't believe the way we were being treated. We took the high road said nothing back and went on with our day. If we have to drive to Pineville to recycle it would probably discourage us from recycling altogether. I hope you all figure out how to provide a little better customer service. I am optimistic you can do it.
