The City of Olympia's Saturday Drop-off Site, open from Spring to Fall, offers free scrap metal and recycling drop-off, with yard waste accepted for a small fee. Blu Otis (5/5 stars, a year ago): Doing yardwork and pruning your trees and rhododendrons around here can be very laborious and take up a lot of space when you’re having to collect it all and take it someplace for drop off. It’s fabulous that the City Of Olympia provides this service to its citizens. It’s conveniently located and large enough so that there’s ample room for maneuvering trailers and trucks that come in. Every time I’ve driven in on Saturday the staff have always been helpful and friendly when I drop stuff off and makes the whole chore more enjoyable. Thanks.
