Ramsey County Electronics Recycling
About This Center
Starting April 1, 2025, Ramsey County's Environmental Center at 1700 Kent St., Roseville, will be the new centralized facility for electronics recycling, replacing collections at Repowered. Residents of Ramsey, Washington, Hennepin, Anoka, Dakota, Carver, and Scott counties can bring accepted electronics such as cameras, cell phones, computers, televisions, and their accessories for free recycling. The center is open Tuesday to Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and closed on Sundays, Mondays, and county holidays. Not accepted items include appliances, car parts, power tools, solar panels, and certain media formats like VHS tapes and CDs. All data from electronics is securely wiped, and items with life left may be refurbished. The program is funded by the County Environmental Charge, and electronics recycling is crucial to prevent toxic metals from entering the environment and promote reuse or recycling of electronic items. No pickup service is available, and visitors are advised to follow staff directions and keep electronics easily accessible in their vehicles. For disposal options for unaccepted items, visitors can refer to the A to Z Recycling Disposal Guide provided online.
