About this center

Pueblo Metals Recycling is the Albuquerque yard on Broadway Boulevard SE in the American Iron & Metal network, which also runs yards in Colorado Springs, Pueblo, Alamosa, and Lamar, Colorado. The yard buys junk cars, trucks, appliances, machinery, steel, cast iron, aluminum, copper, brass, stainless, insulated wire, radiators, lead batteries, electric motors, catalytic converters, lead, and zinc. Recyclers pull in to certified scales with large digital displays that show their own weights. Heavy equipment and operators unload large loads, staff help with smaller ones, and every seller gets a digital scale ticket and a choice of cash or check payment. The yard closes on weekends.

Great place! The gentleman separated my copper to get me the most bang for my buck. Some places don’t care and will attempt to pay lower prices when some of the copper is in fact better than some of the other copper. Nice man too who was attentive and respectful in an age industry where people can be mean. If you are like me (who almost never scraps metal) I would definitely give them a try. Good customer service and fair. That is really all you can ask for.

Pueblo recycle is the best. I have been going to their facility for years. They have the best prices for scrap metal. Ted is very helpful with the aluminum and other small metals. Russell is great at the counter with your money.

Service has always been very professional and courteous. Very efficient process. The area is kept very neat and clean considering the type of work they do. Super pleasant experience every time I’ve been there. Have been going here a couple of years now. Would not go anywhere else!
