NRI accepts ferrous metals (sheet iron, plate steel, cast iron, motor blocks, turnings), non-ferrous metals (aluminum cans, auto rims, copper, brass, stainless steel), precious and specialty metals (gold, silver, platinum, tantalum, Inconel), and miscellaneous items like car batteries, catalytic converters, electric motors, alternators, and titanium.

Winter hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with Saturday hours of 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (Saturdays closed January through March). Gates close 15 minutes before operating hours end.

Yes. NRI accepts scrap metal from the general public as well as service providers such as contractors, plumbers, and electricians, and works with commercial and industrial businesses on larger loads. Drive-up and walk-up service is available.

NRI does not take full vehicles, refrigerators, freezers, microwaves, televisions, tires, wood, lithium or alkaline batteries, liquids, or non-metal recyclables like cardboard, plastic, and paper. Full cylinders must be cut in half, and AC unit compressors must be drilled and drained.
