Mike Lowrey
Mike Lowrey (2/5 stars, 5 months ago): What always unnerves me when I arrive at a new scrap yard is when they offer to help unload. I'm not an experienced scrapper and their small talk makes it clear that I might not know what I'm doing. I can’t help but feel like I’m about to be taken advantage of especially when the prices they offer seem unfair. It feels like this place is no better than a small-town thief. Honestly what happened here feels criminal to me. If you offer me less for #2 copper than anyone else that’s not just bad business—it feels like theft. And if your scales are inaccurate or if you’re dishonest that’s a serious issue. Many people feel embarrassed about taking scrap to a recycling center. So they do nothing about it and you keep getting away with what your doing. Well I'll be back and you better believe I'll weigh everything before coming and be prompt to say something if it's off.

I also appreciate that they are clearly a supporter of the local C.R.O.S.S. food shelf. Thank you Maximum Recycling.
