About this center
C&M Recyclers now operates inside LV Electronics Recycling, a family business run by Robert and Ana that merged with C&M when its founder retired. The Sherwood center is open to the public with no appointment, and staff help unload.
It takes computers, servers, laptops, printers, monitors, phones, tablets, telecom gear, cables, batteries, tools, and most items that run on a cable or battery or contain metal, plus scrap metal. Signed certificates of data destruction are free on request, and hard drives are wiped for reuse or physically destroyed. Pickup is free with a minimum of three computers. Hazardous materials, light bulbs, and appliances containing freon are refused. A walk-in store sells refurbished computers.

Dropped off some electronics today to be recycled. A young man was immediately there to greet me and help me move things from my car. I had a lamp to recycle - as I was taking it out of my trunk the base broke apart and scattered all over the floor. The guy was so nice and told me not to worry & that he’d clean it up. They accepted all of my items and it was all free of charge! (I brought lamps a standing fan baby toys batteries chargers etc.) Great service great people!

My experience was buying some of their used equipment. They had a nice selection of servers and workstations to look through and their stock rotates as they get other items in. They also had a lot of parts to choose from. Everything was priced really well and they're very nice. They're located inside an industrial area and don't have a normal storefront so it may be best to call ahead to make sure someone will be there to help you. The entrance you'll want to go in is on the west side opposite of the main road.

I’m kind of confused how a business can thrive from donations and not offer anything in return to its customers? This is really kinda awful you are pretty much a honest goodwill but only accept expensive items with gold silver copper etc.. I think everyone should know that there are places that will buy your old electronics and metallic items for good money in 2022 as well. Just think gold is $1900 a oz + or. -.
