Speedie Auto Salvage

6995 Eberhart Rd NW

330-878-5531

Mon-Fri 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Speedie Auto Salvage started in 1976 with a couple of cars in a field and now covers roughly 50 acres with about 1,200 vehicles in the yard. This is a late-model salvage facility, not a U-pull yard: staff buy end-of-life vehicles, harvest the OEM parts, and pull each part when an order comes in. Stock spans engines, transmissions, axles, body panels, wheels, seats, glass, and interior parts, backed by a 90-day money-back guarantee and optional extended parts and labor warranties. The scale that brought in cars by weight also led to Speedie Recycling, a scrap metal facility on the neighboring property. Orders ship across North America and delivery covers most of Ohio. Prepayment puts an order on the priority pull list.

Six Recycling

505 Maple St East Liverpool OH 43920 USA

Mon-Fri 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM · Sat-Sun Closed

3.0 (27 reviews)

Norm and Joanne Six, their son Greg, and son-in-law Jeff Woofter founded Six Recycling in 1990 and bought the assets of Berman Iron & Metal, a yard with about 40 years in the East Liverpool area. The company is still family run, with six family members on a staff of 20. The Maple Street yard buys recyclable metal and sells recycled metal and used tires. It specializes in demolishing metal and partly metal structures and pays by the pound for recovered material, or drops off a container and picks it up when the project ends. A wire chopping machine strips insulation from fine copper wire, and the yard picks up broken down vehicles. It is open weekdays and closed weekends.
