About this center

Norm and Joanne Six, their son Greg, and son-in-law Jeff Woofter founded Six Recycling in 1990 and bought the assets of Berman Iron & Metal, a yard with about 40 years in the East Liverpool area. The company is still family run, with six family members on a staff of 20. The Maple Street yard buys recyclable metal and sells recycled metal and used tires. It specializes in demolishing metal and partly metal structures and pays by the pound for recovered material, or drops off a container and picks it up when the project ends. A wire chopping machine strips insulation from fine copper wire, and the yard picks up broken down vehicles. It is open weekdays and closed weekends.

They broke out my rear window because they had an inexperienced operator in the machine and in the end told me they are not responsible for any damages! These people have always been shady right down to taking a lot of stolen merchandise over the years and now some people can't scrap there because of their mistakes. I expect more out of business owners and your suppose to set an example for the community!!

They will give you $20 for a catalytic converter you can drive 8 miles south to a and S salvage and they will pay $125… I am reporting them to the Ohio EPA and the Better Business Bureau and if more people do that then they will stop ripping people off… They are getting rich by praying on the poor

My husband & I have been going to Sixes for several years now. We only take cans copper brass aluminum & batteries. The fellows working in that department are awesome. They are respectful and helpful to both of us. The prices are excellent. We watch as they weigh our stuff and they are spot on.
