Wallingford Recycling Center

The Wallingford Recycling Center offers a variety of services for residents, including a Compost Center for organic waste, which does not accept grass clippings, and a Waste Disposal Center for recyclables and solid waste, with specific hours of operation and current disposal rates available. Residents can participate in an Electronics Recycling Program, with drop-off information provided at the Recycling Center, and a Paint Drop-Off program for both latex and oil-based paints at HazWaste Central. Additional resources include bottle and can redemption centers, a computer recycling service, and the Habitat ReStore for donated items. The center also provides a Mini-Grant Program for recycling initiatives and encourages residents to register online for household hazardous waste drop-off at HazWaste Central, which operates from mid-May to the end of October.
