DD Auto and Salvage has run its yard on West 200 North in Logan since 2007, combining a self-service pick-and-pull parts yard with scrap metal buying for Cache Valley. The yard purchases steel, appliances, aluminum cans, red and yellow brass, copper tubing and wire, and stainless steel, and its tow trucks haul scrap cars. Metal bins in several sizes, up to a 40-yard roll-off, are delivered to farms and job sites and swapped when full, and the yard pays for the metal inside. Mobile cranes, dump trucks, and semi end dump trailers handle larger on-site cleanups. Parts are sold as-is with no returns, and visitors check in at the office before entering the parts yard.
