1 Shot Services is a family-owned scrap yard at 6377 Hahn Road in Bradford, just northwest of Dayton, serving Darke County. It takes steel, aluminum, copper, brass, lead, stainless steel, car bodies, cores, auto batteries, and passenger vehicles that arrive with engine, transmission, and title, and it buys gold and silver. Sellers separate loads by category, since the yard does not sort mixed loads and pays about half as much for unclean material. Concrete, asphalt, brick, and shingles are no longer accepted. Used oil and fuels are accepted, used tires are for sale, and the same operation handles aerial equipment rental and sales plus vinyl lettering and signs. Weekday hours start at 9 AM, and the yard opens Saturday morning.
