Anton Junicic Ent. runs a family-owned junk car buyer and used parts yard at 776 3rd Avenue in Brooklyn, on a lot that began empty and became a family investment. The owner credits his late father, a diesel engineer who diagnosed broken truck fleets, with the work ethic behind the business. The yard pays cash for used, unwanted, abandoned, damaged, and non-running vehicles across Brooklyn and the five boroughs, including Staten Island. Sellers get a free quote by phone or online form, a scheduled pickup, and payment at pickup, and should have a photo ID and the title ready. On-site technicians help with used parts, from fenders to transmissions. The yard buys cars and does not sell them.

Joe Lasorsa started J and V Auto Parts in 1981 after years as a mechanic and repair shop owner, and his sons Carlo and Vincenzo now run it with him. The Brooklyn yard on East 83rd Street sells late model used parts for foreign and domestic makes and models, with a parts search, a vehicle lookup, shipping, and warranties. The family also buys junk cars with free pickup and lists cars for sale. In March 2009 they opened a second facility, Central Auto Liquidators, a 63-acre yard that Vincenzo operates. The store opens Monday through Friday 8 to 5 and Saturday 8 to 2.

WALTER provides commercial IT asset disposition and electronics recycling services from its Brooklyn operations at 138 Hinsdale Street.
